Paws To Play - a better option than boarding your pet in the Inner West

Paws To Play is owned and operated by Iain and Tracey Bishop.

Tracey has spent most of her career working in marketing roles in the telecoms industry, while Iain has also spent most of his working life in front of a computer screen as a software and web developer.

Animals have always been a love and passion in our lives. We appreciate just how much pleasure they bring and how special a role they play in peoples families.

We are the proud parents of an exuberant Golden Retriever called Lani, who just loves to play and is a regular on the walks. It was our joy of animals, seeing how much our own pets disliked boarding, and a desire to offer a better option for pet care that prompted us to start this service.

Tracey is Australian and Iain is originally from the U.K. As well as cats and dogs, Tracey's pets have included mice, guinea pigs, ducks, budgies, galahs, parrots, rabbits and fish as pets. Iain walked local dogs for extra cash while at school, and was a volunteer dog walker with the RSPCA while studying Biology at university.

We met in the year 2000 in London where Tracey was spending a working holiday. We lived in England for a further two years and discovered a shared love of animals and wildlife. To this day our holiday choice is often determined by the animals we can see. In 2002 we returned to Australia and have been living in the Inner West ever since. Iain is now a permanent resident and looking forward to citizenship.
